Riggio Design Consultants

Riggio Design Consultants is an Interior Design firm based in the Washington DC metropolitan region. We believe that good design should be accessible to all. No project is too small or too basic. Good design should be incorporated into every phase of life, functioning as the cornerstone for a good existence. Every space can be transformed to become more functional, more aesthetically appealing, healthier, and invitingly more comfortable. This is the premise of our work.

A green conscience guides our designs as well because the canvas on which we create our spaces must be respected. Winston Churchill said it best when he remarked, “We shape our spaces; thereafter they shape us.”  These underlying principles and beliefs provide the conceptual framework that guides our firm and our designs.

Erica Riggio is featured on Phil Kogan’s new blog! Phil is a great photographer and has decided to do something a little different!

“Erica is an Interior Designer who operates her own firm, Riggio Design Consultants, and also co-owns an art gallery in Hyattsville, MD, called the Design Studio Gallery.  Erica hung several of my photos in two of her shows last winter.  I shoot a lot of models whose job it is to be photographed.  I wanted to photograph Erica because she’s not a model, just an everyday working gal who is also quite pretty.  Kim Reyes provided hair and makeup.” –Phil Kogan
